This was a challenging but satisfying build. It was inspired by JakeFPV and used the Fractal Engineering 75 frame kit. I pulled the motor and SH1.0-6Pin HD digital port and direct soldered. With two boards it raised up the stack a bit and requires a frame cut on the Mobula7 V4 75mm frame. Fortunately I bought a backup because it's a bit tricky to figure out the best prop guard cuts and I screwed up the first frame.
I'm using the Tiny Whoop 0802/ 25Kv Snowblower motors with 1.5mm shafts. I really like these motors and have been anxious to use them.
I'm using the new DJI 04 Air unit which has been great so far! Quality on par with the DJI 03 Air however does not touch the quality of the DJI 04 Air Pro. I used an Ort Antenna which is my go-to for any of my naked 03/04 builds.
The frame looks hashed up but it's a result of the way you have to snip the frame. I don't love that but it's just a cosmetic thing and does it's job to protect the props.
JakeFPV created some nice design files for the camera mount and I printed the Frantal Engineering grommets to connect the boards. I did have to purchase some extra long 1.7 x 10mm screws.
It flies great and still blows me away that you can have this image quality in such a tiny package!
