Tired of snapping carbon fiber arms or cracking rigid plastic frames during basement laps or sidewalk proximity flying? This 75mm micro frame is designed specifically for durability and flexibility, utilizing the unique properties of TPU for AMS to create a "bounce-back" flight experience, ensuring high rigidity. Now it's also HD!

Key Features

  • True Unbreakable Design: Unlike traditional 3D printed frames, this design uses a flexible material that absorbs high-speed impacts, making it perfect for beginners or aggressive indoor racing.
  • Bambu Lab AMS Ready: Since the material used is TPU for AMS, you can print it in the Bambulab AMS for multicolor accents goals.
  • Ultra-Lightweight: Designed to maintain a high power-to-weight ratio for 40mm props.
  • Camera compatibility: DJI O4 lite

Optimized Print Settings
To achieve the intended "unbreakable" strength while keeping the frame stiff enough for flight controller PIDs to handle, please use the following specifications:

  • Material: TPU for AMS 68D recommended for structural parts, to achieve the best balance of stiffness and durability. Use TPU 95a only for the battery holder for more flexibility and battery retention.
  • Nozzle Size: 0.4mm.
  • Wall Count: 2 Layers (Critical for achieving the specific flex-resonance intended for this design).
  • Infill: 20% gyroid.
  • Layer height: 0.16mm. Adjust the top and bottom layer count to have the motor mount fully solid.
  • Supports: yes
  • Print orientation: see video

Why TPU?
While most frames rely on rigidity, this design embraces impact displacement. By using only 2 wall loops, the frame remains lightweight and easy for motors to "drive" through the air, but provides enough give to protect your expensive electronics and motors during a crash.

Despite being a flexible material, the truss structure ensures proper rigidity to the frame without increasing the wall thickness. Quite opposite actually :)

Note: For best results, ensure your TPU is dry. Wet filament can lead to stringing that might interfere with motor bell clearance!
