Hooked my ultracap bank up to my scooter to see what it can really do. 24, 3000F capacitors in the box. 12 in series, two strings in parralel, for 32.4V maximum at 500F. I can also arrange them for 16.2V at 2000F with a few alligator wires. I have them connected with aluminum duct tape on the outside of the box, so in case of a short, the tape just vaporizes like a fuse.
10935 Joules/capacitor*24 capacitors = 262440 Joules = 262440 Watt Seconds = 72.9 Watt Hours.
