Here's the list of the first ten DESCENDANTS 3 cast members and characters OFFICIALLY confirmed!!

Welcome back Virals, it`s ThePaparazzo and today we are going to talk about Descendants 3!
The third chapter of our favorite Disney Channel saga has finally started production in these weeks and some of the main cast has been confirmed. Here are 10 members of the cast who will definitely be in the movie. I'll start by listing some of the main cast, and their characters, and then conclude with some members who were less likely to return in this next Descendants installment. Make the wait between now and summer 2019 more bearable by watching this video!

#10: Dove Cameron as Mal, the daughter of Maleficent
There was no doubt that Dove would return to reprise her role of Mal. Now that her personality has changed for the better, fans want to see how that plays out onscreen. Plus, there is no denying that she and Mitchell Hope have serious chemistry. Not to mention all the hype behind the announced revealing of who her father really is. Who do you think Mal dad is? #9: Sofia Carlson as Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen
Sofia is one of the strongest singers and a charismatic actress, so hearing that she will be back is good news. Let's hope for more duets with Dove because their voices blend so well together. Will Evie be the voice of reason in this movie as well? Only time will tell.
#8: Mitchell Hope as Ben, son of King Beast and Queen Belle
Of course Mitchell Hope will be returning as Mal's boyfriend. Hopefully their relationship is not as rocky as it was in "Descendants 2." The fan-favorite 'ship had better not be broken up!
#7: Cameron Boyce as Carlos, the son of Cruella de Vil
Fans are counting down the days before they can see Carlos and Jay team up once again to make some cool magical objects together. This bromance is one that lights up the screen. There is nothing quite like seeing these two go on adventures together. There was some concern about Carlos return as Cameron last year announced that he would leave Disney very soon, but thankfully he decided not to disappoint Descendants huge fanbase!
#6: Booboo Stewart as Jay, son of Jafar
Booboo Stewart is lower on this list because, at 24, he is one of the oldest members of the main cast. He could be moving on soon, but he is needed to compliment Cameron's character. Plus, the movies would not be the same without him!
#5: China Anne McClain as Uma, Ursula's daughter
China Anne is returning as Uma, but it is hard to tell whether or not she is back to stir up trouble or make good. We will have to see. Our prediction is that by the end of the movie she will be joining the good side with the rest of VKs, what do you think about that?
#4: Thomas Doherty as Harry Hook, Hook's son
The pirate crew are minor characters, hence their positions in this list. The plot could move on without them, but despite the little screen time Harry Hook made such an impact in Descendants 2 that fans probably would end up disappointed in not seeing him return. Plus, since Thomas in real life is dating Dove Cameron, will be super interesting to see if they will reference the real life romance in the movie plot!
#3: Dylan Playfair as Gil, son of Gaston
What we said for Harry Hook stands for Gil, with the difference that Dylan Playfair had even less screen time and plot relevance, mostly being relegated as comedy relief. Let's hope in this installment he will have a juicier role, his acting skills definitely deserve that!
#2: Kenny Ortega, Director
Not saying that Kenny Ortega won't be returning if the series were to continue, but he had to go somewhere on this list, as he's a key part of the franchise. He even directed "The High School Musical"! Who knew we could be "Chillin' Like a Villain," "Breakin' Free" and "All for One"? I guess it's just "The Start of Something New."
#1: Sarah Jeffery as Princess Audrey, the daughter of Queen Aurora and King Phillip
After not appearing in "Descendents 2," it was a really nice surprise to see that Sarah is back. Most likely she will appear in scenes with Dove and Mitchell, might she be the catalyst of this new adventure trying to breaking off Mal and Ben romance? Also, fans are eager to know if Audrey and Chad are still on good terms!
