Supernova remnants are vital to our understanding of Stellar Nucleosynthesis. After a Supernovae detonates, the central neutron star powers the light of the nebula with Synchrotron radiation and shock heating. We see examples of this in the Veil Nebula, Tycho's 1572 Supernova, and Kepler's Supernova from 1604. The best studied of the SNR's is the Crab Nebula.
