Peter Donk's 1/4 scale RC Affordaplane flying at the GVAM club field on 6-13-09. Built from full scale plans from aluminum tubing, 82.5" wingspan, 51.75" length, 16.5 lbs., converted 31cc Ryobi trimmer engine, stock magneto ignition, 16X10 Master Airscrew prop (8100 rpm), Futaba 6EX 2.4GHz radio, 6 S3004 servos (2 aileron, rudder, elevator, throttle, choke), 12 oz. fuel capacity, Sig Koverall fabric covering. This was an extremely fun build over 6 months from Christmas 2008 to June of 2009. The plane flies well as long as you respect it's limitations. Very true-to-life scale performance.
