I converted my ansmann kryptonite to brushless using 150a esc, 2200kv motor/fan and conversion kit from ansmann.
Car came from baseracers.co.uk and rest came from hobbyking.
Its currently using 15t pinion and 46t spur.
It was tried using 2x 7.2v 5000mah nimhs but 2x7.4v 4000mah lipo's rule and nimhs drool!!!! (in 1/8th anyway!!)
After 3 runs on lipo front diff is now no more!!! :(
