*** Recommended engine size .20 to .40. I used old OS.10's I had on hand instead ! Here is Part 2 and the first flight test of the Twin Nitro Engined TwinStar I built back in January. Before ARF's and "Foam Trash" came out (That's what we used to call the foamies from Cox back in the 70's) we built up airplanes from balsa, ironed on the material, installed radios all from the ground up. Then came along ARF kits.. These are Almost Ready to Fly plane kits that are built and covered, but not assembled. I was given this Old school Hobbico Twinstar from Jeff for Christmas. It's an all time favorite plane for many and me too.
I appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to see and hopefully enlighten those folks who wanted to see what is involved in the building process of us Old Schoolers.
