I am new to making these videos, please bare with me and some of the sloppiness in the production.....
During a work break I decided to see how far I can go before loosing video feed with the AKK VTX set at 1200mw......There are plenty of power lines, trees, buildings, metal to block the signal.
Also please keep in mind that the video feed is 25% better then what the fatshark DVR recorded. This has always been the case with Fatshark DVR unless you decide to upgrade the DVR module, which Fatshark does sell and is on my shopping list.
I am running a E58 pro module with an 8dbi patch and Foxeer Lollipop on my fatsharks, and the Quad is using a matching Foxeer Lollipop.
I have to say I am impressed with the performance of this VTX.
It is no longer possible to purchase the 1200mw version due to FCC law, max allowed in the USA is 1000mw. The current offerings reflect that. I guess I got lucky grabbing one of these when I did.
Thank you for watching! Part 2 is a night flight cruising along city streets, and I was very impressed on how far I was able to go......Subscribe to find out!
