A group of 114 aspiring young riders were in attendance at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia as the selection event for the 2017 Asia Talent Cup.
Run by Dorna, the organizers of the MotoGP™ World Championship, the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship and the FIM CEV Repsol, as well as co-organizer of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, the competition provides a spotlight for the most talented young riders in the region to showcase their skills on identical machines. Co-managed by successful talent scout Alberto Puig, responsible for nurturing such talents as Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa and leader of the successful MotoGP™ Academy, the competition will sees stars of the future participating in a multi-round series in 2017 again on Honda NSF250R Moto3™ bikes.
