API/Open is the Deutsche Bank Hackathon, which was held this year in Berlin to celebrate the launch of the new dbAPI and the associated Developer Portal (https://developer.db.com). At the API/Open start-ups and teams of developers and designers came together to produce app prototypes based on their ideas “beyond banking”.
API/Open was just the beginning – From the event on, the dbAPI is indeed open for everyone interested in working with realistic test data to come up with innovative applications that go beyond traditional banking solutions.
