Thanksgiving Coffee Company visited the Rwanda's Dukunde Kawa Cooperative in 2005 to select lots of their coffee. The coffee was delicious, but a severe drought was threatening crops.
After discussing the problem with farmers, the partners committed to doing more than simply paying high prices for great coffee. The result is an award winning climate change adaptation project that has the potential to inspire similar projects in farming communities around the world.
