Here is our in depth review of Subaru's first ever Hybrid production, the 2014 XV Crosstrek Hybird. This is the most fuel efficient all wheel drive crossover on the market. We will take you through all the specs of this vehicle and show you everything Subaru has done to create this incredible hybrid system. The XV Crosstrek Hybrid has a 13-hp electric motor integrated into a CVT automatic. Paired with a 2.0-liter boxer four-cylinder, the system creates 160-hp and achieves 29 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. It achieves 163 lb-ft torque at 2000 rpm versus the conventional XV's 145 lb-ft at 4200 rpm.
