MAF opened its first base in southern Sudan in 1950 and has operated in first southern Sudan and then the new country of South Sudan for over 50 years. Today MAF enables 170 organizations to provide health care, nutrition, and clean water, assist refugees, local churches and missions and share the love of Jesus Christ.
