Animations suck for performance, right? Well, there’s ways to get around that and make use of that GPU power to to make animations totally jank-free! Isn’t that awesome? We can do that by only animating filter, transform, and opacity. That way we don’t have to repaint, and our animations will be flying! And, inspired by Tobias Ahlin at the Fronteers Spring Event 2016, we will have a look at how to implement that using pseudo elements.
