Welcome to Fed’s World!
Where have you been for the last three weeks?
Yes where have you been?
Where?
I know it’s been a while but I promise I haven’t forgotten about you …
It’s just … it’s been a long summer?
Hey, but hold on, isn’t summer supposed to be the same every year?
And the screen is up.
In the meantime there is the most beautiful sunset
Well, actually it’s just after sunset.
It’s so nice.
There is a tiny bit of a moon.
I mean, according to the calendar this year’s summer was, and still is, 93 days, 15 hours, and 38 minutes.
Yes because summer started with the SUMMER SOLSTICE on the 21 June at 6:24 am
and will end with the FALL EQUINOX on the 22 September at 22:02 hrs
Which makes this summer 9 minutes shorter than both the past and the coming summer.
And what has kept me so busy is a project that happened
Just here at the Citadel
The First ever Gozo Film Festival
Oh, it’s just about to rain.
Everybody was going to see the fireworks.
It’s the first rain of the season and it’s coming at the wrong moment.
And if in ancient Egypt, summer was the start of the new year, as it roughly coincided with the rising of the star Sirius and the annual flooding of the Nile River,
for my Son Summer means holidays, cousins, beach, long evenings and ice creams.
Had we been in land of Westeros, this summer would have lasted at least 10 years, and even longer had Gozo been the land of the Dothrakis …
