The moment I've been waiting for! The faceplate mechanism is finally complete. This also marks the first successful 3D print for my Makerbot Replicator 2, so that is also a momentous occasion.
This setup will mount under the forehead tab of any Iron Man / War Machine helmet, and due to the use of the HS-125 Metal Gear servo, is powerful enough to lift and support the faceplate of an Iron Man Helmet. The plastic parts can be easily painted with any acrylic paint, and there are several add-ons explained in the video that are available to enhance the functionality.
