As you can see from the dates on the time lapse sections, it has taken me a while to get around to putting this video together.
It was October 2015 when I placed the order with Ooznest for their prusa I3. http://ooznest.co.uk/3D-Printer-CNC-Kits-Bundles/Prusa
And in november I built it.
It takes a while to realise what you can make practically anything with it and a while more to realise that sometimes a 3D printed part is not the best solution.
I came across 3DLAbPrint through a search on Thingiverse where I found a wing sample for the spitfire and had a go at printing it.

By the time I had got everything together to do the rest of the model, the spitfire wasn't the only plane available from them. There is now various other models and the number is growing.
Check out their website https://3dlabprint.com/index.php
I am very pleased with the way it turned out.
