In this flight video I want to show how RTL works with a different set RTL voltage and higher capacity battery than the stock SMBMS would allow. The stock BMS has an upper capacity limit of 5200mAh. It writes its capacity at every boot up to the Pixhawk parameter BATT_CAPACITY. A python script overwrites the parameter to 8100mAh after every connect with Solex (commands settings).
The Solo does RTL at 12.4V as you can see. Nothing special has to be done before flight, just make sure to see the grey thing which indicates that the script is running.
The copter is running OpenSolo.
