The 3M Easy-On Privacy Filter and Screen Protector for iPad lives up to it's name. The adhesive corner tabs allow you to take the screen on and off the iPad for numerous applications. The privacy feature performs great as 3M has been in this market for laptops for a long time already. Moving to tablets and other mobile devices was just fitting the protector to the right sizes.

You will need to decide which privacy mode you want and get that screen . One screen will not do both modes. It is strictly a technology issue.

We love these 3M Easy-On Privacy Filter and Screen Protector for iPad screens and use them for both the privacy (of course) and as a screen protector. We really do not have issues with any dimming as long as you remember to use the iPad in the alternate layout or look directly at it. Any angle of the iPad could reduce seeing it clearly when in that mode.
