This is the A-main of the second round of the Short Course Showdown of the Carolinas. I am driving my Tekin powered Losi Ten SCTE (orange/blue/black). The truck was hooked and felt great. Was a blast to drive hard. At the end of the first lap, the deans plug from my battery separated from the ESC so the truck was dead. I thought that something had come unsoldered but realized it was way to early for anything to get hot. I ran down from the driver's stand to check on it thinking that was the end of the race. After staying out there all day and grabbing TQ, only to break in the 1st lap, I was pissed lol. I said what the hell, might as well finish after plugging it back in and ran back up the driver's stand. Then, I drove as hard as I could to see if I could catch back up. Got first place with 1 minute to go and then almost lost it in the last 2 turns of the race. What a race! Shout out to Brad Allen in the blue SC10 4x4 who drove a great race too!
