A kinetic wave installed in the School of Interior Design, CEPT University, Ahmedabad. The structure is inspired from the various sculptures done by Reubin Margolin, an American kinetic sculptor. The system was developed and designed completely by us through various model making and prototyping and complete production and installation done by the students in the institute using the facilities of the home workshop. The structure was a design initiation by Anuj Anjaria and Tarang Sagara, students of SID.
The structure consists of more than 500 pulleys, some hundreds of meters of nylon string, steel cables and in total 7662 holes in the whole of the assembly, hence the name.
