About this ride:
In July, 2017, I had the opportunity to join the second leg of the 14th edition of the Royal Enfield Himalayan Odyssey. This ride, organised by Royal Enfield, has (over the years) grown to become an iconic journey through the Himalayas. I joined a group of over 50 motorcyclists at Leh, and together, we rode through some of the most scenic and challenging routes in Ladakh and Spiti.
I got to ride the Royal Enfield Himalayan on this trip and really put it through its paces in the terrain that it is truly meant to be ridden.
Route: Leh - Khardung La - Hunder (Nubra Valley) - Khardung La - Leh - Upshi - Tanglang La - More Plains - Lachungla La - Baralacha La - Sachu - Keylong - Gramphoo - Chatru - Kunzum La - Kaza - Nako - Kalpa - Narkanda - Chail - Solan - Chandigarh
