I didn't get to this in the Analysis but something I never understand is the tendency by developers to over explain.
Series like Zelda, Dark Souls and Silent Hill are what they are because they had a community around them whose soul purpose was to interpret and
make sense of them.
I'm not saying every game should do this but this is something more developers should be taking advantage of as it makes the player more active
in the story and is thus a better use of interactive form than the cutscene spamming alternative.
(it also forces the developers to abide by a standard of quality in presentation as nuance becomes more important and thus everything must be
designed with more attention to details and coherency, but then, what do I know? NOTHING! I'm just text on youtube, not even fit for the video,
I've been pushed down to the description bar, the lowest of insults, what's the point of anything!?!?!?!?!)
