Last year we were on vacation in Florida for her birthday and spent the day taking pictues on Ormond Beach. So for her birthday this year I told her that I wanted continue the tradition and go to Ault Park for pictures. We grabbed some food on the way and were going have a short picnic beforehand. After arriving at the park and finding a good spot to lay down our blanket I told her that I needed to run to the restroom first. Needless to say, a few of our friends were waiting for me with the puppy and charged cameras to record our engagement. They followed me back to the overlook where she was waiting for me to return. This is the video they captured as I came around the corner.
Keep in mind, she knew about the puppy because we had picked him out weeks earlier. But since we had to wait until he was 8 weeks old to leave the litter, she thought we were going to pick him up a couple days after her birthday. But unannounced to her, I actually took the previous day off work to meet the breeder and pick him up.
Last and not least I need to give a special "thank you" to all of our friends that helped me pull this off.
