Even though Flint Castle, famously mentioned in Shakespeare's Richard II, was begun in 1277 it still makes an impressive mark along the river Dee. It's very easy to miss if you are passing through Flint, but well worth a visit for it's history and setting! When I took my drone a few areas of the castle were closed for renovation, so you will have visit to see those parts, for now at least. I hope you enjoy it!
