This receiver was originally constructed in the early 30's from the January 1933 QST article by George Grammer titled "Rationalizing the Autodyne". It has been restored to working condition. In the video it is operating on 80 meters connected to a Butternut Vertical. The controls are: bottom left regeneration, bottom right RF Gain, top right and top left band set. Band-spread tuning is the vernier. The circuit consists of a 58 RF Stage, 58 Regenerative Detector and a 56 Audio Amp. The performance is quite good considering its simplicity.
