Go is an open source programming language developed at Google that makes it easy to build simple, reliable, and efficient software. More importantly, programming in Go is fast and fun. Speaker Biography
Russ Cox is a software engineer at Google. He has spent the last four years on the Go team, designing and implementing the language and writing Go programs. Russ received his AB and MS in Computer Science from Harvard University and his PhD in Computer Science from MIT. Prior to joining Google, Russ was a development and release engineer at Bell Labs.
