I've ridden the Acton Blink Board over 100 miles here are the positives and negatives about the board.
Pro's -
The size and weight of the skateboard are awesome.
The charge time is extremely quick.
The build of the board is solid and is durable.
The controller is a perfect size.
Negatives
The brakes are unusable, borderline terrible. It's not a smooth braking system like the majority of other electric skateboards.
The belts go bad quickly which is mainly just annoying.
The belt slips constantly making it a challenge to ride the board smoothly and safely.
The controller disconnects from the board frequently making for a dangerous ride.
Small range but acceptable for such a small board. Definitely not 6 miles like Acton claims, plan on around 3 to 4 miles in between charges.
Conclusion -
Although I desperately wanted the board to work out the brakes, belt and controller disconnection issues make the board too dangerous to ride therefore I am getting rid of it and buying another brand.
