It’s January 29th and this is Morgane with your daily marine news
1. AMELS is pleased to announce that it has reached the final milestone in its 18-month ‘Tier III’ programme. The new milestone means that AMELS is the first Dutch shipyard to slash harmful Nitrogen Oxide emissions by almost 80%. This custom engineering project lessens the environmental influence of the new 57,70-metre AMELS 188 superyacht, without the need to compromise the very highest AMELS quality and comfort on board.
2. Silver Arrows Marine has revealed that its Arrow 460GT is finally nearing launch, more than three years after the Mercedez-Benz styled yacht was first sea trialed. As the image above shows, the superstructure is complete and the first model is ready to be delivered.
3. Do you remember those crazy guys that caught a frisbee while on a moving speedboat? Well now they are attempting to catch two! Are they going to make it? Watch the video up on BSA!
A Chinese drone manufacturer is reportedly working on a megadrone.
The 184 will reportedly be able to carry a single passenger up to 10 miles, traveling at speeds up to 60 mph. Is this the future for yacht services and passenger delivery?
