Arthur Fernandes, a Psychologist, Drummer, Musician and a celebrated performer, along with Tanmay Velenkar, composed the musical piece that opened the evening to the Launch of Amish Tripathi’s new book. ‘The Scion of Ikshvaku’ The first of the Ram Chandra Series.
Arthur and the Music Matters team came up with a beautiful 12 minute piece that was well appreciated and welcomed by Amish Tripathi and his wife Preeti.
Amish Tripathi, author of ‘Scion of Ikshvku’ adds.. ``We wanted the launch of "Scion of Ikshvaku" to be about the reader, which is why we didn't invite any celebrity to launch the book but instead had readers releasing it. We also wanted to give the readers, some of who had travelled from out of Mumbai for this event, a truly memorable experience, which they felt part of, not just as recipients of long boring speeches but as a truly participative experience. Arthur and' Music Matters' did an outstanding job of delivering such an experience through their interactive performance yesterday. An experience which left the audience energized, euphoric creating an atmosphere which was truly electric and spiritual, reverberating with beats and chants! I am sure it will be an evening that everyone present will remember for a long time to come thanks to the fabulous drumming of Arthur and his team!”
