A brand new Revolt 30. Initial inspection and removed the prop in preparation to sharpen and balance before it's first run. Once I removed the lock nut on the stub shaft I noticed the horrible fit of the prop on the shaft. Is this to be expected? This is my first flex-shaft drive system in a boat so maybe this level of inprecision is expected, but I thought since this boat was designed by Grim Racer that it had elite precision. I measured a total of .007" of play between the prop and the shaft.
