I added a pulse omission detector (POD) to an old 1970's single channel radio control system using an Arduino Pro Micro board. This gives me throttle control (2 positions) when I push a button that stops the rudder pulses. The throttle cycles to the next position every time the button is pushed. In the flight video you can hear the engine RPM change whenever the button is pushed.
