Are open back-headphones better? Phillips SHP9500 review.
Whats the difference between open-back and closed-back headphones? So which should you buy? Open-back headphones or closed-back headphones? How bad are open back headphones sound leak?
I recently purchased my first pair of open-back headphones. I was imminently impressed with the sound. It gives off a much different vibe than that of a closed-back headphone. The headphones that I am comparing the SHP9500 from Phillips with are the CB-1 studio headphones from Status Audio (my all time favorite pair). Something to keep in mind here is that both of these headphones are studio monitor headphones, meaning that they have a neutral or flat sound. They are also both under $100 dollars.
