UPDATE 06/17 - I mentioned a Metroid project by MercurySteam that never saw the light of day. While indeed it never came to fruition, MercurySteam ended up working on the 3DS game Metroid: Samus Returns! It's up to us to wonder if this shelved project and the Metroid II remake have any connection.
First of all, I want to apologize for the long wait for a new video! I'm into a university-related project that really took my time, hopefully now since I got the hang of it, it'll go by faster! Anyways, another new series for my channel, that talks about the behind the scenes of videogames! This time around, we'll go through some of the Metroid projects that never saw the light of day in the 30 years of the series's existence, including the infamous Metroid Dread.
