Ok so this is my very first drone and I am or was a total virgin when it came to flying one of these. Everything I need comes in the box and even has extra propellers that in time can break or even come off if I hit an object to hard when learning to fly this. First off the self-righting is very helpful when I come in for a crash landing or hit a tree. It will just bounce off the object and right itself and keep going. This is easy to control and I can even start using this with out even reading the instructions. Tho I recommend reading them as there are some tips on how to fly the drone easier as well as tricks on how to make this lil guy do a barrel roll or loop-de-loop. The drone is easy to see with its orange color during the day and even easier to see at night with this blinking head and tail lights. This makes navigation much easier when moving forward backward or even side to side. This is a gyro unit which means it can gyrate on a single axis and this has 6 of them. The cage around the drone actually helps make this safe around other people or objects as it will just bounce off and keep going. Also being its in its own cage the blades are kept away from anything that might entangle it or harm a friend I get a little to close to when showing them my noobish moves. The drone itself has a built in rechargeable battery that charges via USB. The USB charger has a orange light that lights up when the battery is fully charged and can plug in to the pc to charge when the time comes. Charging time takes roughly 40 minutes which gives plenty of time to go over the manual. The controller is simple to use and read. It takes 6 AA batteries and has a built in stand for when sitting around and trying out new tricks. Looking at the controller the left hand stick controls the fan speed or acceleration (Up and Down). And will also control the gyration or spin from a level elevation. Where the right side controls the movement (Forward, Backward, Left, Right). In the video I show some of the controls with how easy this is to use, But my flying skills are way to embarrassing to show on the net. Once I have mastered this drone Ill update the video so everyone can see how easy this is to fly. This is a great starter unit for anyone trying to learn how to use a drone and is rates for ages 8 and up. I picked this off of a list of things needing a review at a discounted rate or free and gave my unbiased honest opinion.
