Allright, took the task up to build some decent flaps...
Both flaps have a dedicated Hitec HS-65HB servo. Two levels (50%, 100%) are set up on my DX-7. Flaps have one channel (Y-cable), so do the ailerons (another Y-cable).
The tailwheel... cut out the stock tailwheel mount an turned it [U]up-side-down[/U], found out that it now looks like gear doors... then inserted a 40-size tailwheel (25mm wheel) and steer it with the rudder servo.
No flight yet with these mods... i'll let you know about the performance of the flaps soon. And yes, there will be retracts soon... ;-)
