the edge and heel were pretty rough so I sanded them down with sanding sponge, 220-grit sandpaper then wax and heat it up (a mimic of shoemakers' hot ironing the heel and edge).
Kiwi saddle soap, and then Saphir neutral shoe cream, Lincoln and Saphir waxes.
