MacBook Pro 13" (late 2011) upgrade to Crucial 512GB M4 SSD
I took a leap of faith and replaced my 750GB HD for a new
512GB SSD. The process was super simple, aside from the 6 hours it
took to clone the current HD. The result is impressive RESPONSIVENESS.
Booting up has improved significantly, but the most dramatic results
are opening flat out Office, or any other app, from zero, just after
booting up. Its like if you were switching already running apps,
seriously no more than a second or two to full screen all toolbars
available and cursor blinking status. See for yourself.
