Augustus Invictus, a controversial figure who ran for senate in 2016 as a Libertarian, announces his candidacy for the nomination of the Republican Party in Florida. His speech to the press took place in front of the office of Senator Bill Nelson (D-Fl) who he hopes to unseat.
This comes in the aftermath of the violence in Charlottesville, where Invictus has originally planned to announce his senate run while speaking at "Unite the Right."
He took a few questions from News2Share's Ford Fischer following the announcement.
