So first for our travel, we rented a campervan for the month with Travellers AutoBarn from Sydney to Sydney ( but you can also rent a one way with fee, so the drop off will be different from the pick up) and then we visited ...
( New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria and Australian Capital Territory)
- NSW : Royal National Park, Blues Mountains, Sydney (beaches), Jervis Bay, Morisset Park, Port Macquarie, Central Coast, Port Stephen, Coff Harbour, Byron Bay, Wollongong.
- QLD : Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Fraser Island, Whitsundays, Rockhampton, Townville, Cairns
NT : Alice Spring, Ayers Rock (Uluru), Mcdonalds Range, King Canyon
SA : Adelaide
VI : Great Ocean Road, Melbourne
ACT : Canberra
We did the most popular spots because we had a very short time to do Australia (I think we'll need at least a year to visiting properly that big island)
You can find Kangaroo nearly everywhere, but you got a very nice spot plenty of them in 2 hours from Sydney head north at Morisset Hospital.
We didn't schedule early so we booked a day tour on Fraser island BUT i you can just rent a 4WD and sleep over at least one night ;)
We did a scenic flight at whitsunday to see the Great Reef Barrier with day tour the next day for snorkeling and Whithaven beach.
We also did a scenic flight at the sunset in Uluru (IT WAS AWESOME !)
Take your time when you are in Ayers rocks, we really appreciate to spend our time there!
The Great Ocean Road was amazing but unfortunately there are a part that we didn't do because the road was flooding
