The Indian Pacific arriving at Sydney's Central Station.
The train is so long it needs to be split over two platforms for the passengers to disembark.
The process: The train stops short of the platforms. The first loco is detached & moves forward into platform 1. The 2nd loco then hauls the first portion of the train into platform 3. The first loco then moves back to the 2nd portion of the train and then pulls it into platform 1.
The whole process takes around 25 minutes.
