2013 - Practical Electronics II - Student Project. (Mr. Murray Irvine, Mr. Benjamin Henderson)
The task assigned was to build a purposeful system which consisted of at least one sensor, one motor/actuator and a PIC micro-controller. The project conception is an automatic liquid dispenser, designed to fill a glass of certain height to approximately 1 cm from the brim. The design used an ultrasonic distance measurement device. The sensor uses a single wire, serial interface to transmit the positive TTL pulse at a frequency of 40 kHz.
