I recommend watching the entire video-(I know it's long) but this will give you step by step instructions on how it is done. If you don't cook the pudding mixture long enough, it will be runny and won't firm properly. Thanks for watching!
Ingredients/RECIPE:
4 large egg yolks
1 cup white sugar
2 Tablespoons self rising flour
2 cups of milk (whole or 2%)
In a saucepan/pot, bring to a boil over medium heat while stirring-watching it close, so it doesn't scorch. When it comes to a boil (bubbling) remove it from the heat after about a minute.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, stir. This part is done.
Other Ingredients:
Vanilla Wafers (amount depends on the dish)
2-3 Ripe Bananas
(I use a 2 quart dish)
Layers are vanilla wafers, banana, pudding mixture, and repeat.
Allow to sit in the fridge for a few hours until firm and cold. Pudding will thicken a little more after it cools.
