In this hotly contested political year, Barbie has thrown her name into the ring. The Barbie I Can Be ... President doll wears a conservative outfit created by emerging designer Chris Benz, known for his liberal use of color. The tailored pencil skirt suit features Barbie's signature pink color along with a patriotic red, white, and blue ruffled trim. The doll also wears a B Party campaign button and is accessorized with a "pearl" necklace and earrings. In addition to being a fashionable component to Barbie's suit, the doll's pink wedges actually stabilize and allow the doll to balance on its own without the help of a doll stand. There are four different versions of this doll (Caucasian, African American, Asian, and Hispanic) so that any girl can see herself as president.
