In this video, our Clymer shop technician walks you through one simple circuit on a Kawasaki Ninja, the headlight. He shows you how to trace the wire through the diagram, and find all the switches, connections, and relays. If you have an electrical component that has stopped working, these are the first places to check.
Start at the component furthest from the battery, and using a test light or multi-tester, check for power. Then move along to the next logical weak point. Eventually you will find the break in the chain, and hopefully be able to fix it with a splice, a replaced fuse, or a new electrical relay.
