This is to provide people with some more info about this nice looking FPV platform. This is my setup / BOM / suppliers:
- Airplane - BD-5e: www.bevrc.com
NOTE: Although no manual is provided, I could get the info about the C of G in a discussion in RCGROUPS: as I have noticed as normal practice, the C.G. is located in the CF spars in the wings.
- Controlling:
Spektrum DX 6i (stock power output) +Orange RX 7 Channel for Spektrum, with the following setup:
Ch.1 - Throttle
Ch.2 - Ailerons
Ch.3 - Elevator
Ch.4 - Nose gear + Camera pan movement* (NO RUDDER in stock config for BD-5e)
Ch.5 - Light command + NOVA OSD Screen mode
Ch.6 - NOVA OSD Flight mode command.
Ch.7 - Undervoltage protection (a capacitor that should help in case of any servo short, to avoid fluttering in the remaining ones due to low voltage in the RX...)
(Further description about the Orange 7 Channel RX and the Spektrum TX setup in another video...coming next)

Ah, you will also need some carbon fiber sheet, if you want to go for these shields I did, but once again: I am no expert in RF things, so I cannot affirm that this would be absolutely necessary...
And, of course, a lot of wire cutting and welding, hot glue, painting (ENAMEL paint) and, PATIENCE!!! It took me 2 weeks working at night time only to have this girl finished...or almost ;)
* You will also need a servo signal reverser (I'm going for the Turnigy Servo Signal Reverser), as the landing gear and the camera servos are turning in opposite ways...
