Met up with two other Mini Talons at Pejar Dam for some formation attempts. It can be difficult with so many variables to contend with, different set ups being the main challenge. My biggest drawback was the camera I was flying from, A Runcam Eagle, which won't save it's settings so I ended up with an overexposed image making it hard to spot the other planes over the grassy fields, over the water was OK. We all managed to fly without interrupting each others frequencies including, 2.4, 1.2, UHF and 5.8 which made for a nice day's flying. One thing to be cautious of was the glassy water as it would be very easy to unintentionally 'land' on it. This location is OK to fly in but the Dam itself seemed a bit small and we found ouselves doing lap after lap on just a single battery. I'm covering over 30 kilometers on a single 5000maH 4s pack without trying to be efficient. This particular day was very favorable for FPV and I think we all had a good time. Thanks for watching!
