In this bench tip, I will show you how to use household chemicals and materials to etch a PCB.
what you need:
- SAFETY GLASSES
- Laser printer
- Toner transfer paper (or gift wrapping paper)
- Empty PCB
- Clothes Iron
- A block of wood (to iron on, a wooden cutting board will do)
- Scissors, Knife, Tape (to prep the design to transfer)
- A container to etch in
- Fish tank pump and hose (can do without but it takes much longer)
- Hydrogen Peroxide (I got mine from Dollarama)
- Acetic Acid (white table vinegar)
- pinch of salt
Simply follow the instructions and all will be fine.
