Gingerbread Dough Ingredients:
4 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 1/2 TBSP Dried Ground Ginger
5 TBSP Ground Cinnamon
1 TSP Salt
1 TSP Ground Nutmeg
1/4 TSP Ground Cloves
1 TBSP Pumpkin Pie Seasoning
1/4 TSP All Spice
2 TSP Baking Powder
2 Sticks (1 Cup) Room Temperature Butter
3/4 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Large Eggs
3/4 Cup Unsulphured Molasses
4 TBSP Fresh Finely Grated Ginger
Honey Glaze Before Baking:
Two Tablespoons Honey
One Table Spoon Water
Royal Icing Ingredients:
2 LBS Powdered Sugar (or Confectioners Sugar)
3 Large Egg Whites
Fresh squeezed Lemon or Orange Juice ( to be added by the TSP until icing meets proper consistancy)
Wilton Gel Food Colorings ( DO NOT USE LIQUID FOOD COLORINGS)
